Why Should I Switch?

So you’ve found a postcard in the mail, or clicked a link on social media. Some strange company called “Three Layer Solutions” is trying to convince you to pay for their phone service.

“But I already have a landline”, you think to yourself. “It’s part of the internet and TV package I got from my current provider!”

Or, for many others, the thought is “But I don’t need a landline. I have a cell phone!”

These are both very good points, but despite these reservations there are a number of situations where a landline still makes sense.

  1. Your landline service is bundled with your other services! Surely it’s not worth the effort to switch, right? Not quite.
Internet-TV-landline bundles, while popular, rarely make sense these days. With the wide availability of streaming services, there’s little demand for live TV. If all your favourite programs are available online, why bother with bundled services? Scrapping the TV and overpriced landline service from your current plan can save you money, and allow you to switch to a less expensive phone carrier (like us!)
  2. You already have a landline, but would be a real pain to switch phone numbers!
Switching phone numbers would be a pain, and we get it: you need to make sure everyone who might contact you gets the updated number. If only there was a solution to this problem…
Oh wait, there is! Through a short process, we can get your phone number transferred over to our services. Not all numbers can be ported, and we’ll require some information from you, but in the vast majority of cases the transition is quick and painless. You get all the benefits of Three Layer Solutions phone service, and you get to skip the inconvenience of changing phone numbers!
  3. Sure, you have a cell phone, but what if you have family overseas?
While most of us do have cell phones, our phone service handily beats cell carriers when it comes to international calling. Sure, you can get “International calling” packages with your phone plan, but they tend to be obscenely expensive. Bell offers an “International Long Distance Saver” add-on; for only $8.00 per month, you “save” money on international calls — if you consider paying 12¢ per minute to call the UK “saving” money. Our international rates are far lower than you’ll find in cell plan add-on packages, and with our Pay-per-Minute plan you only pay $3.50 per month for access to our rock-bottom international rates.
  4. Features, features, features!
Our VoIP service is miles ahead of the big telecoms in terms of feature availability. In short: if you can imagine it, you can do it. One useful application is for apartment buildings with intercom systems! With Three Layer Solutions, you can automatically forward calls from your building’s intercom system to an interactive digital menu. The menu — which you create and customize — allows you to enter an access code, like 123. This access code prompts to system to automatically dial the number that unlocks the door!
So, you give your friends the 123 access code, they call your suite on the intercom, press 123, and the system automatically opens the door for them. The best part? It’s all free, and included as part of our long list of call features available to all Three Layer Solutions customers. If you don’t have a landline provider already, no problem! All you need is an internet connection, and we handle the rest.

So while bundles and cell phones are great, they’re hardly excuses to miss out on our unreasonably inexpensive offerings!
