Service changes and website rework

Jide and I started this business nearly three years ago with the goal of helping small businesses with the things they couldn’t do without, but often couldn’t pay full price for.

Unfortunately, neither of us really understood just how difficult it would be to get Three Layer Solutions off the ground. We are both very technical individuals, and neither of us could ever be considered effective salesmen. Securing clients was (and remains) a big challenge for us, and we simply could not afford the time outside of our regular full-time jobs and personal lives to build the company from scratch the way we intended.

Now that we have a bit more time on our hands, we have decided to make some changes.

  1. Three Layer Solutions will no longer offer bookkeeping or web development services. Telecommunications for businesses will be the focus, with IT services provided for those who need it.
  2. Residential phone services will no longer be advertised, but existing clients will be supported.
  3. We will be seeking partnerships with existing businesses to fill the gaps we cannot, such as cabling and access control. These systems can be managed by us, but not installed due to provincial regulations.

These changes will allow us to focus our efforts on one area of our business, allowing Three Layer Solutions to grow into the company we always wanted it to be.
